Shownotes

Do you think your business has to be in English because the market in your native language is too small? Because you want your business to be international or travel and work from anywhere?

This is what Ines Festini thought when she set up her health coaching business in English instead of her native German. Over the next 5 years, she built up a successful business. But there was always a little voice in her head, doubting if this was the right path for her, and she wondered why she had never dived into the German market.

In 2019, she finally made two big changes. She shifted her business to mindset mentoring and decided to do it all in German. “It was the right move,” she says today, even though she had to step away from her initial business. “I wasn’t going to be as successful as I envisioned myself to be in this area and I wasn’t excited about it anymore. That was a sign for me that I had to change.”

In this episode of the Sigrun Show, Ines shares how she managed to change the industry her business was in as well as the language successfully, what the biggest challenges were she encountered and the compromises she had to make.

If you are struggling to decide whether to set your business up in English or your native language, this episode can give you great insight.
