Why I Am Closing My Programs and Turning Them Into AI Agents

In April 2026 I gave a short talk at the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women event in Malaga, Spain. I started with one sentence: I am closing down all my programs.

I have an online education company. I teach women how to create online courses, market and sell them, and take their online business from zero to 7 figures. In 12 years I have trained over 200,000 women in my free trainings and had 10,000 clients. In 2 weeks I am closing down everything that has made me €22 million.

It was very scary. But I think it is scarier to pretend that nothing has changed.

What Changed in February

In February the world changed. Suddenly AI could do things that were unimaginable a few months earlier.

I knew this was coming. Two years earlier I heard about a man who had an AI marketing team. I thought it was cool, but without coding skills it was not possible for me. Then February came and we were already there. I thought we had more time. Many of my friends are AI experts, and they also thought we had another year or two.

I started to panic. I realised I had no time to waste. At the end of February I decided to close everything down by the end of the year. I did not know what my new business would look like. But I knew this business would stop working, because I teach women how to do things on the computer, and now agents can do it.

Three Days in March

Then March came. On 9 March I had an operation on my arm to remove a skin cancer spot. They were able to remove it and all is good. On 10 March I went to the funeral of a friend’s sister, who was 57. On 11 March I was at a pain clinic, having injections in my neck to find out where the pain I have had for 16 years comes from.

On 11 March I was supposed to rest. As I was lying in bed, I thought that I might be a frog.

You know the story. If you put a frog in boiling water, it jumps out. If you put it in cold water and slowly warm it up, it stays and dies. I felt like that frog. Someone was warming up the water and I was lying in bed.

So I jumped out of bed and went to my computer. I said to myself: “Today, not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, not end of the year. Today I need to decide what I’m going to do.” There was nobody I could call to ask what to do next. I had to sit with it myself and decide.

I decided to close down all my programs now, at once, and turn them into agents.

From 10 Weeks to an Afternoon

Normally I teach women to do things themselves. One of my programs is Sales Every Day, a 10-week program where I teach women to create a sales funnel to sell their online courses. Even with templates, a pre-made funnel inside the software, accountability and coaching, it still takes 10 weeks. And some women do not finish in 10 weeks.

Now an agent can do it in an afternoon.

I am building that agent, because it has my process and my method. The women will probably still need more than an afternoon. There is still the human element, and they are going to doubt things. So we will still offer a program where we help them do it and help them manage the agents. Maybe then they get it done in a week, with a human in it.

What My Clients Said

I took the decision on the afternoon of 11 March, a Wednesday. On Thursday I told my team. On Monday I sat down with my first clients, those who pay me between €10,000 and €15,000 a year.

I was very scared to tell them I was closing down the program. I left that meeting crying. The women were so understanding. They said, “Yeah, this is the next thing. We’re in.” I could not believe it. I thought I was killing my company, but 80% of my clients are coming with me.

Some are not coming. They are not into AI, or they believe they can do it the old way, or maybe they are tired of me. Before I made the decision, I had worked out what I would have to refund in the worst case. It is exactly the number I expected: €50,000. That is a small amount, and we pay it out on 1 May when I close the programs.

Starting Fresh on 1 May

I chose to close all my programs at the same time instead of only one or two. On 1 May we start fresh, and we will teach women how to run a team of agents so they can do all the things they want to do without having to bother with the tech.

Now I do not feel like a frog in the water. I am sure many others around the world are doing something similar or are about to. I would rather be one of the first, because if you are the last, you have lost.
