How Judith Grew Her Blog Coaching Business to €500K a Year | Red Circle Review
In this video my client Judith Peters shares her review of Red Circle.
Where Judith Started
Judith lives in Germany and is a blog coach. She teaches entrepreneurs, coaches, creatives and course creators how to build their website and blog, and what to write about, so they are found on Google.
Before that she was a freelance copywriter for advertising agencies in Stuttgart. She won awards for her campaigns. She was also a lecturer at a university, and she was the breadwinner of the family.
With 3 small children, freelancing got harder. Her children’s kindergarten closed in the early afternoon, and the agencies started work at 10 in the morning. She felt the agencies booked her less than before.
“I felt something has to change I don’t have a perspective anymore.”
Later she wrote about that time in her own words:
“I used to be a typical trade-my-hours-for-money copywriter. I worked as a freelancer for advertising agencies, earning between €5-6K a month. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t sustainable either.”
In December 2017 she saw my ad on Facebook. She was at the university after a lecture when she decided to join:
“If I can teach here I can teach anywhere.”
Her First Online Courses
Judith was in the first SOMBA® Kickstart, which we called SOMBA Summer School back then. She had the idea for her course while nursing her third child at night. Her first course was about writing your website copy.
“I had 117 sign ups and I had 97 people in my Facebook group.”
In the first week she found that recording the videos was a hassle, so she went live. It turned out she is really good at live videos, and she has done everything live since then.
At the end of the course she sold a 12-week blogging course. 4 people bought it, at about €800 each.
“It was my first money that I earned with online business.”
It was enough to get her investment back. On May 1, 2018 she hired her husband, before the business had made any money. At the end of 2018 she had her first five-figure launch, and in 2019 they bought a house.
In December 2019 I told her in a group call that she needed a freebie. She set it up in 2 days with Canva and ran Facebook ads. In 6 weeks 2,000 people downloaded it.
What Happened in Momentum 360°®
Judith joined Momentum 360°® a few months after she joined me. She got a mini mastermind group and made many friends.
“And this is like my new motto I do it anyways.”
Her launches got bigger and bigger. In one launch she had about 800 sign-ups and 400 people in her webinar, and the launch made €30,000.
“I didn’t even dare dream about this and then suddenly it happened.”
In 2020 she crossed six figures for the first time. She created and retired several courses. Then she built her blogging course, The Content Society, and at the turn of the year from 2020 to 2021 she had her first six-figure launch.
What Happened in Red Circle
Judith joined Red Circle in 2021. She was nervous about it:
“I was really anxious about this because I always thought I’m not there yet. I’m not ready yet. But I was more than ready.”
In her first year in Red Circle she created a beginner’s course for her blogging programs, which brought more revenue.
She had been blogging since 2005, but for years she did not believe she could build a business on blogging alone. She thought her group would be too small if she niched down.
“One of my huge success stories is I have dared to launch a blog course just around blogging.”
Red Circle and I encouraged her to do it. Her own clients had been asking for it too:
“They told me Judith we want to have a blogging course from you.”
Judith says she is the one in Red Circle with a lot of fears about launching and creating new products. In the masterminds she gets answers and new ideas, like the idea for a new course on the day we recorded her video.
“I know I would not have created this alone sitting by myself at the desk or just being with my husband in my business. This would not have been possible.”
By November 2022, in her second year in Red Circle, Judith made over €400K a year in her online business.
At my Momentum Retreat she created her first high-ticket offer:
“Until now my most expensive product is €1,500 for a whole year. And now I finally have a high ticket offer which is really really awesome.”
Where She Is Now
When we recorded her review, Judith was in her fourth year in Red Circle. Today her business makes €500K a year.
“I have grown so much as a woman, as a person.”
“You always invest in yourself, in your growth. You invest in finding friends who think like you. You build your network.”
In her written review she put a number on it:
“I can say that I get a return on investment of at least 1 to 15 on every dollar that I spend.”
