How Eva Went From Burnt Out to $250K a Year Online | Momentum 360°® Review
In this video my client Eva Lorenc shares her review of Momentum 360°®.
Where Eva Started
Eva is a classical pianist and piano teacher from the Czech Republic. She lives near Prague. She teaches women and men to play the piano, from the very beginning up to the highest level.
Eva has a private offline piano school, where she teaches with her own method. The demand for lessons with her was much bigger than she could teach. She taught maybe 50 people a week and had a long waiting list.
“I began to feel a little burned out because I was repeating many things.”
So she had an idea. She could record videos that explain the basics, and everyone could watch them. Then in class they could take it to the next level. As a classical pianist, she never believed piano could be taught online.
“But I found a way that it actually works really, really amazingly.”
There was another reason. She and her husband wanted to have a baby. On maternity leave she would not be able to teach, and teaching is her passion. In 2016 she started to teach online too.
Her First Online Course
Her first online course was for adult piano beginners. It took her the whole summer to create. In autumn 2017 she sent the offer to her list of a couple of hundred people. 53 people signed up.
“I made in one, I don’t know week, money that I was making almost for the whole year before when I was teaching privately.”
Her offline school is her passion, but the costs are high. She pays the wages, the rent and the pianos, and very little is left.
“It’s like a very expensive hobby.”
The online business made enough money that her husband could leave his job and work in their company. With her first daughter born and a second baby planned, Eva decided to make the online business the main thing.
What Happened in Momentum 360°®
Her online business was already making $100K, but Eva was overworked.
“I was doing everything but nothing. There was no structure, no strategy, no plan.”
She joined one of my workshops and heard about Momentum 360°®. She joined in September 2021. It was scary, because they had just taken out a mortgage to buy a new house. She had never invested so much in her business.
“I will follow every step that she tells.”
For the first time, she was not alone with her business.
“I put the question into a Facebook group and in a half an hour I got 50 responses.”
She launched with my method for the first time, following the steps in my Launch and Sell program, which was part of Momentum 360°®.
“I had my first 50k launch. And that just blew me away.”
Back After Her Second Baby
Her Momentum 360°® subscription ended about a month before her second daughter was born. She took a break. 4 months later she watched my masterclasses at Christmas and missed the support. At the end of January she joined Momentum 360°® again.
“It’s doable even with the baby.”
Her husband looked after the baby when she needed a few hours a day. In her second year she finished her first funnel and learned to run Facebook ads to grow her list. Her launches became more successful.
Eva wanted to join Red Circle, my program for clients with $250K a year in revenue. She was not sure a piano business could get there, because she lives in a small country where people do not earn much. At the beginning of December she had her last launch of the year, and she was still missing some revenue.
“I made it the third day of the open cart at this launch.”
“It was not an accident that it happened because there was a strategy behind it.”
Where She Is Now
When we recorded this interview in December 2023, Eva had 2 daughters, aged 1 and 3.
“I’m a full time mother and I’m a full time entrepreneur and I didn’t have to give up on my dream, which is amazing.”
In June 2023 her own piano method was published as a book by Barenreiter, a well-known music publisher. She is on a mission to inspire other piano teachers in the Czech Republic.
“Now I feel much stronger, much bolder.”
