How Thorey Gave Her Admin to AI and Saves Many Hours | SOMBA® Advantage Review

Where Thorey Started
Thorey is an actor, director and theatre performer, and a transformational voice and life coach. She runs workshops both in person and online. We met when she started to build her online coaching business.
She first found me through my 12 days of masterclasses before Christmas:
“I think she is a brilliant teacher and has a lot of knowledge and is good at bringing it out.”
That led her to SOMBA® Kickstart, which was the start of her online programs. She had been thinking about doing online programs for some time.
She is a solopreneur and does a lot of administrative work herself, and it is not her favourite part of the business:
“I would love to have a PA or a VA and […] that is what Advantage was offering actually, to cutting down on all this work and giving it over to Claude or ChatGPT.”
She wanted everything in one place, the platform for her programs, the emails and the rest. She also saw that I was starting to use AI and build it into the programs.
Thorey came in with some doubts about AI, especially in creative work:
“I do have certain kind of prejudice towards AI and I definitely don’t want to see it too much in the creative field.”
She wants AI used in an ethical way. But she also thinks you need to understand it:
“I think it is essential to learn about it and accept the fact it has arrived.”
What Happened in SOMBA® Advantage
AI now does a big part of her admin. It helps her reuse her texts on different platforms and adjust them for each one:
“It’s saving me many hours in that kind of work and […] probably will do more and more of it as I am becoming more familiar with it.”
She is learning more about the tools as I add more to Advantage. She is also building a collection of material about her own work. She does not hire people yet, but she sees the value for later:
“It is a bank of information on my work that I’m creating through Advantage that will be amazing to have […] if I would need to […] put other people into my business.”
Where She Is Now
When we recorded her review, Thorey was running workshops in person and online. She works a lot in Iceland, and she also runs programs in English, so Advantage helps her reach people outside Iceland. She is also learning how search works now and what her website needs so that people can find her:
“I think not everybody is aware of that the search machines are different now since AI arrived.”
Would She Recommend It?
“Yes, I would definitely recommend that […] It’s a very good support if you are going down that line, even with workshops just in person, […] and exceptionally good for online programs, because there’s a lot of value in the everything that you get access to, whatever stage you are in your business.”
